There was no Anime Boston 2002. Anime Boston 2003 was our first year.
We've come across a few people who have claimed to have attended Anime Boston 2002. We'd love to see some photos.
- Who were the first guests Anime Boston ever announced?
On April Fools Day 2002, Anime Boston announced these guests. Unfortunately, they weren't able to make it.
- I put a link to Anime Boston's web site on my web site. Can you guys put a link back to me?
No. You're free to link to us, but Anime Boston is unable to provide return links to the hundreds and/or dozens of sites that link here.
- Can you feed us?
We'd prefer it if you fed yourselves.
- Will there be some secret parties happening during the con?
That's a secret.
- Can you move Anime Boston to ________?
No. We're staying in Boston. Considering the name of the city is in the name of our convention, that should come as no surprise. Maybe you can find an anime convention in your state on AnimeCons.com.
- Why did you move from ________?
We didn't. Anime Boston has always been in Boston. Amusingly enough, when we have had a booth at some other conventions to promote Anime Boston, people have asked "This con's moving to Boston next year?" thinking that the convention they were at was going to move and not realizing that there might be more than one anime convention out there.
- Do you guys run other conventions besides Anime Boston?
Not at the moment. If you were at another anime convention, it was not run by Anime Boston or The New England Anime Society. However, The New England Anime Society, Anime Boston's parent company, does help run some other anime events including the anime programming at First Night Boston.

Enjoy your "couple hours" in Disneyland. (Have you seen the Hynes? Renting that's not cheap.)

This is a common question and people have wondered about this for years. People have asked if they're siblings, good friends, dating, married, etc... Finally, we can put the rumors to rest and settle this once and for all.
A-chan and B-kun are our mascots.
